Charles E. Jarrell Contracting understands that comfort is key for any hotel. In St. Louis, the hospitality
industry is very competitive. It is the second largest industry, adding more than $2 billion annually to
the region according to the St. Louis Regional Commerce and Growth Association. To draw repeat hotel business,
among many variables, the HVAC systems must be reliable and provide a comfortable experience for guests.
For this reason, many hotel developers rely on Charles E. Jarrell Contracting for HVAC design/build and service.
Traveling through the past three decades Jarrell has earned respect in the hotel industry for providing reliable,
cost-effective mechanical services for many successful hotels.
For example, Jarrell Contracting worked with White Development in 1970 to build The Sheraton West Port Hotel and
Lakeside Chalet. Together these hotels would pioneer the start of a major new hospitality complex.
Checking into the '90s, Jarrell Contracting supplied HVAC design/build experience for the new Drury Inn Creve
Coeur hotel in west St. Louis. Also, when Drury Inn and Suites moved to save the International Fur Building from
the wrecking ball they again chose Jarrell Contracting for their vast design/build and renovation experience.
Jarrell Contracting worked with developer Don Breckenridge on yet another major renovation project.
This time, Jarrell is supplying HVAC design/build services, as well as plumbing for the renovation of the Sheraton/Edison
Brothers building in downtown St. Louis.
