The U.S. Census Bureau statistics reveal that America is aging. The second-fastest-growing group is seniors, age 85 and older. And the next decade will show enormous growth as the oldest baby boomers begin to reach retirement age.
As a result, construction of retirement communities is rapidly expanding. Jarrell Contracting is a leading mechanical contractor skilled in design and installation of new luxury retirement communities.
The sophisticated new facilities for senior citizens require well-rounded expertise. From engineering to completion, Jarrell offers quality and continuity of service that spans the broad range of design demands from residential to high-rise developments.
Our staff engineers are skilled to improve overall value and economy for each building using leading-edge technologies and cost-cutting solutions that achieve the best value and optimum comfort in each building.

Jarrell’s reputation for consistent
and reliable service was put to
work on the Cape Albeon luxury
retirement community. This $18
million luxury senior living
complex was completed in 2001.
The goal of the 231,829-square-foot
development is to give
residents life-style options.
Living units at Cape Albeon
include 110 one- or two-bedroom
retirement apartments in a three-story
building, and 70 assisted
living studio or one-bedroom units
in a single-level building.
Recreational amenities, mainly in the
three-story structure, include a heated,
indoor swimming pool and adjoining
massage/fitness center, a 114-seat
restaurant-style dining room, and more.

Unlike most retirement
facilities, The Hallmark of
Creve Coeur rises six stories
tall. Jarrell handled the
HVAC and plumbing for this
$28 million dollar project.
The poured-in-place
concrete at the project required
close coordination and craftsmanship during
installation of ductwork, piping, electrical and
sprinkler systems in the 318,000-square-foot facility.
Jarrell installed a 130-ton, self-contained variable air volume
system for the common areas and an energy
efficient water source heat pump system for the
apartments. For the indoor pool, Jarrell installed a
dehumidifier and cooling system.
